He's got a very angry uncle here now and they're about to take him for his CT Scan before hell breaks loose. The computers are down so everything is paper and patients are being scattered anywhere they can fit.

Unfortunately. Baylor told me with his age and a head injury they'd most likely transport and both Harris' had 4 hour plus waiting times. We just made it home and he ended up with no CT Scan, because they're a bunch of disoriented morons.

That sucks nothing is more frustrating then waiting hours in an emergency room only to leave because people can't have their shit togeather. Does he have a primary doctor?

Yeah, the CT Scan was going to be read from Pennsylvania and faxed over since they had no computer access. Then, they couldn't find a transport to take him for a CT. Yes, he has a PCP and if it's iffy in a bit I'll get one of my connections to give me orders for an imaging center that is NOT Cooks once they open. There were 75 people or so waiting and kids puking everywhere and spiking 105 fevers in infants....it was a catastrophe.

Wtf they couldn't find anyone to take him around the corner to get a CT "point me in the right direction and I'll take him myself" that's insane. Hope he gets better soon.

Wow, ER's usually suck in general but it sounds that one is all jacked up. Hopefully you'll get some results soon.

i hope little man is alright,

sidenote: one of my boys on the baseball team was running while on spring break, fell down and when he went to catch himself put his hand directly on a stick which then promtly went through as in completely in and out of his palm.

                    god bless.

They refused, because of insurance liabilities. I asked if I should just google it and treat him myself.

Thanks. I figured you'd start wondering where I ran off to, haha.

Lucky for that little guy he didn't go to where we were last night or he would've been waiting hours with no help. I'm beginning to think I should've just gone to Children's in Dallas except my daughter would've had no sitter come 5AM if I wasn't back.

Thanks guys. He's asleep, but his o2 levels are 100% and he seems fine other than his headache.....and after not eating his pancakes he begged for I made at 3AM I still didn't beat him.

Wake him up every so often and check his pupils, it can help to show the severity of the injury.

You know there is a Brand New Hospital off 35w and Golden Triangle. I had to go there for Kidney stones a few months back and they had there shit together, I was back in the room in the ER within 3-5 mins of getting there.

Is he doing good this morning?

Yeah, they're a THR hospital and supposed to be really good. I've thought about trying to get hired there. He just turned 3 so with age and head injury everywhere says Cooks. I always refuse Cooks, but I didn't have much choice last night. He's doing just fine this morning and the red, purple and blue on his face has gone down.

Praying for recovery. Hope he is alright.

I have a sure way to the head of the line but it includes being brought in by helicopter. You really don't want that, trust me.

Oh and get ready for more. Kids never seem to know not to take those chances. There will be more visits.

One more thing, you haven't experienced it all until the police come to the door stating they received a 911 call from this location and you get to explain. Monster fun!
