The whole inspection racket needs to go away. It was important 50 years ago when cars were shit, now it is a huge waste of time. Michigan, Florida, Oklahoma and most of Tennessee don't even have them any more.

Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida and most of Tennessee have done away with the practice with no ill effects. It was important 50 years ago when a car with 100K miles on it was a death trap

so if you're tags are out, have have to drive illegally to the inspection place ? then they get ya for expired registration on the way to get the inspection sticker.

Basically you're going to need to get your annual inspection done prior to the registration being expired. If you wait until the registration is expired to get it inspected, yeah I guess so.

I'm just wondering, since trailers are also suppose to be inspected annually, if that will be included in the new changes. If so, thats going to suck because none of my trailers are inspected and never have been.
