It sounds like she already is. I'm willing to bet the car didn't get that bad between inspections nor is it keeping the vehicle off the road.

Any of those could happen in a year. Steering slop maybe not so much but it is possible. If the inspectors were doing their job the cars wouldn't get passed and they would get a ticket for a bad sticker, this will eventually get them off the street.

The whole inspection racket needs to go away. It was important 50 years ago when cars were shit, now it is a huge waste of time. Michigan, Florida, Oklahoma and most of Tennessee don't even have them any more.

Glad we don't have emissions up here. All the smaller shops do here is look to see if the car came in on wheels or on cinderblocks.

Just got limo tint on my ranger today. I've never gotten a ticket for tint, or failed inspection. If they give me shit I guess I'll drive around the corner and pull both front windows out of the truck real quick lol. No windows=no worries.

Years ago I had a buddy deliver my stickers. Ahh the good ole days.

I want to move to TX but with No cats, EGR, Evap etc etc my cars a mess. Makes me appreciate a no inspection state like FL.

That's one thing I don't miss about the Mustang, having to worry about inspection each year. I found a place that would hook me up, but every year I worried that something would come up.

Yeah assault my intelligence. You think we don't know that trick? The vehicle better be 100% good other than that or it's gonna fail. Alot of time I just tell Limo tint cars hey you need to get that tint removed and then come back. You try that I'm going to fail it for something and document it in the data base about what it failed on and suspected tint to dark. If you have limo tint usually there is something else wrong with your car also in my experience.
