even though I'm too broke to afford one, the thought is nice

Now put that in a stripped down Camaro or stripped down Vette and it might be pretty damn quick.
My super coupe was 4100lbs, made 230HP/330tq at the flywheel took about 6.8 seconds to 60MPH and was running low 15's in the 1/4. That is 190hp and 100ftlbs less power than this motor is making. There was a guy with a t-bird SC making 320hp/390tq to the wheels and a weight with driver of 3700lbs, was running 12.7@108.

If you are buying a luxury barge that is 4K+lbs and running low to mid 13's in the 1/4, that isn't too shabby.

looks like alot of people are coping fords tt idea.
Infinity G is planning a tt. " What has us uber excited is that the IPL-spec G will feature a 3.7-liter twin-turbo V6 powerplant pumping out 530 hp and will probably be priced competitively with the GT-R,"

Woudln't be surprised in the least that large CID motors are phased away by all car companies in place of a smaller, FI powerplant that will be easier to meet the more strict EPA regulations coming in the very near future.

Current automotive news has reached the shores of dfwmustangs without a 6 month delay?! Incredible!

Rumor is also that this will probably wind up in the ATS-V at some point in the future, either as a replacement for the LT1 or as an option alongside it.

Yup. And it actually looks like this will be the motor in the ATS-V instead of the LT1, making somewhere around 450hp.
