I just bought a pair of Saucony's and the plastic insert for the heel is cutting through the cloth after 2 days. I have to wrap my heel in tape and band aids to wear them. Sports Authority wont exchange them because they were clearanced/sale.

I stick with Nike, New Balance, and Asics. Never have a problem with quality. Wore my nike running shoes for a good two years before they went bad. 7 months on my new balance and they are just as good as new.

I go through shoes to fast to buy name brand shoes. The shoes I was prescribed were $1500 and lasted 2 months. Wal Mart shoes for $10 and they last twice as long.

Buy Walmart shoes, get Walmart quality! Pony up a few bucks and get a nicer pair of shoes.

wish4svts ill give ya that but i had a pair of walmart boots that lasted for over a year before trans fluid ate through the soles and i dont work i stay home and take care of my dad, so pretty much just walking.shit i have a pair of timberlands that are 5 or 6yrs old and are still together and i wear them all the time.

I have had pretty good luck with skechers. They usually last me 1.5-2 years before they fall apart. My Nike gym shoes are a little over a year old and are going strong. I average about 2-3 miles of walking a night at work, so I am hard on shoes.

i have wide flintstone feet so i stick with skater shoes for comfort. dc/vans usually. since they are designed for skaterz they hold up well
