Anybody been? Reviews? Heard a lot of good things about the food. Going to take a ride up there in about another hour or so.

Everybody says if you go anywhere near prime time, there is 1.5-2 hr wait to get a table.

My mother in law lives across the street. She loves the place. I have not had a chance to go though.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

My wife and I try to go there at least once a month, if not twice. It is worth the drive, but there will be a wait depending on when you get there.

If you go, definitely get the "to die for" dessert. it is TASTY. I love the blackened catfish and my wife likes the tv dinner.

I had the blackened catfish as well. Damn good, Oh and I was too damn full to have dessert. But I was eyeballing it on another table. That shit looked good! I had a cup of gumbo, we split a crab cake and she had the blackened shrimp. We both had to go containers. No way I could eat all that and desert.

Both of these are the truth!

I've eaten there several times and have had a long wait a couple of those times. I did hear though that the Chef sold the place to one of his coworkers who he has trained. Not sure if that's true or not.

I don't think that's the case. The first time we went there, we got there about half an hour early (by accident) and there was already a line formed...this guy in the line explained the history of the place to us while we waited...he said he the guy who owns it married a columbian gal (she's usually the hostess) and last time we went she was there.

Haven't tried it even though it's close to home. Must be pretty good though seems to always have a crowd.

I also heard that she was the one who took it over, but again just hearsay.

I know who you are talking about too, she's a very nice girl.
