Nope. You wanna know what was an awkward conversation, though? Talking to him about condoms. I got to witness him telling our grandmother he wasn't a virgin the other day. :/

They're headed to Baton Rouge for their residencies. His is in Internal Medecine. Hers is in Emergency Medecine.

Yes, I did the match thing. Basically, you interview wherever you can get an invite and then rank all those places according to where you want to train. They, in turn, rank you according to their set criteria and then put that info into the computer which spits out where you will spend the next 3-7yrs. I interviewed in Baton Rouge for EM residency, but I ranked them low. Not a great place to train...especially since Earl K Long is closing. My good friend from med school trained there for EM so if she has any questions, I am sure that I can get them answered. Congrats to both of them...a stressful day for sure.

My buddy in LR just got his match to stay in LR at UAMS. Im sure his wife and newborn were excited about not having to move
