I just saw what you're saying. Didn't consider that.

And yes it looks slow. When I owned her, from 2005 to 2012 I put maybe 2 miles on her. The rest of the time she was trailered.

If its not the angle of the picture, they may have put the springs on backwards. The alignment pin in offset.

Compare the age of the car to the age of the wiring

Entirely possible. I didn't know what I was doing

This, they look smaller than the fronts.

Actually it could be an optical illusion. I have pic of a 70 chevy truck that looked like the front wheels were set back quite a bit. But in person, they were fine. I would have bet a fair amount of money they were fucked.

If that's my car, it's the way the car is sitting. The front has those skinny racing wheels and tires on the front and some cheap tires on the rear I didn't mind burning off

I would bet that it is a combination of picture angle and maybe were it is parked isn't level. There is no way you could put the springs on backwards as the front leaf spring bushing is bigger that the rear bushing.

I dig where you were going, but IMO the better choice would have been to drop the front and leave the rear the correct height. But that gets into a matter of opinion.

See racr, all is possible in retrospect though I have just about the same amount of know how now that I did then. I did put lowering springs under the front but all in all, I didn't fit well in her. I thought I had blown the transmission but the guy who traded a 77 CJ5 to me that tried to kill me later told me a vacuum hose had come off

Is it really that small of a world? You sold a car to someone that was probably located in TX, and it pops up later on Craigslist in the same state.

Yeah it is. I have sold a LOT of cars in the past 5 years and I have only seen one or two of them pop back up on craigslist. I actually had one guy track me down to ask what mods I did. He found pics of my car, then searched my username and found another car that I had for sale and got my phone number.
