  • Hell hath no fury like a person waiting on a tax refund

Got an email tonight from H&R Block stating there were some issues with returns that had Form 8863 on them (education credits) and there would be additional delays. It had a link to their facebook page in the email so jumped on to see if there was any more detailed info. HOLY SHIT. Post after post from dumbfucks talking about getting their cars repo'ed and all kinds of bills being late because of this. Keep in mind, the IRS didn't start accepting these returns with Form 8863 until Feb 14th so under the 21 day window, it probably wouldn't have shown up until last Thursday anyway.

Cliffnotes: H&R fucks up tax returns. Brokedicks ain't got time fo dat!

People are just irresponsible as shit. They expect a tax return, so they can't wait a few weeks so they blow all their checks leading up to it thinking the tax return is going to bail them out. Then their bills come due, tax return takes longer, and their shit gets repo'd because they were already a few months behind.

the broke dicks prolly haven't got a damn problem - they are just making shit up so that someone will take pity on them and send the money before anyone else.

People LIE. (which is way worse than being a brokedick)

Yep, I think the average person would be amazed at how irresponsible people can be with their finances. I have to deal with it on almost a daily bases and I still can't believe how dumb people can be with money.

Yep. At my old job, we got pretty decent bonuses every year. These were not guaranteed, but 9 times out of 10 we got at least a decent one. One year we didnt get one at all, and several morons had already gone out and bought new cars. They were mad at the company like they owed them the bonus. Lol

LOL, that exact scenario almost played out this year. We just barely met the company goals so we get a partial bonus. choooo$$$$$$ choooo$$$$$$

That or just adjust your deduction claims up to the point that you get a very small return or owe a very small amount.

I lmao at people who treat their income tax return as.....income. "I'll be all caught up when I get my tax money."

Even if these people didn't pay taxes all year, they'd still be broke. It's like someone else saving their money for them, and it's an inconvenience, lol.

yes and no... at one of my former jobs, I didnt make much hourly, like barely enough to pay bills, but I made 2-3 x the hourly in commission, and the Govt holds 1/3 of that commission in taxes automatically(ragardless of my withholdings)...

I dont want the fucken govt to take 15-20 grand of my money and hold it for me, Id be much better off if I had half of that paid to me which would be more in line with the actual tax withholding and not having to wait for a 5 figure return.
