I hate it when anyone parks on the street. Makes it a nightmare trying to get down the street with a trailer when I go buy a car from someone.

Hell yeah, it pisses me off too. Park in front of your own fuckin' house, NOT mine.

If I owned POS cars that leaked oil I'd park in front of someone else's house too.

My next door neighbor has 2 families living there(violation of HOA). 3 cars and a large driveway. One of the cars prefers to park on the street. They park the car so as to have the front end sticking into my driveway about a foot or so, even though it is perfectly clear behind the car. When I enter and exit, I have to dodge it.
For the majority of the time their driveway is empty! This is small potatoes in the grand scheme of life, BUT it does get under my skin. I would never vandalize another mans property over something so trivial.
Having said that, I do like the sprinkler idea. Turn it on about 20 min every day he parks like that and it is guaranteed to leave water spots all over that nice new car!

Back when I was a kid and living in the city, my mom had that same issue. Being the devious troublemaker that she is, she started parking our 84 dodge conversion van in that spot. My neighbor wasn't too happy about it lol.

It can be annoying. When I first moved into my house the neighbor would park in front of my mailbox. After missing the mail a few times I wrote a note to please stop. They did but they also threw the note in my yard. I think they parked there because I have a tree that shades most of the street in summer, and they never had any cars in their driveway or in front of their house.

The kicker is they could park in their own driveway! Or in front of their house. They have the space
just let your grass grow a bit tall and mow it with a push mower with the grass guard off...let the clippings blow all over the car. maybe they will get the hint then.

I use to have this problem with my neighbor...not so much them, but the youngest son's friends....even though they could technically fit two more cars in their driveway.

I had to catch them as they were pulling up, ask them if I could help them and when they'd tell me they were going to visit next door, I asked them to park in their driveway. It took a while but I guess they finally got the message.

Yeah, this is usually what is common sense? It's not hard to try and give them at least this courtesy. If it fails, then escalate to other tactics.
