Anyone else ever have this problem? This is the 3rd night this week I haven't slept more than a couple of hours. I usually drink and low and behold all 3 of these nights I haven't got off work in time to get some brews. I'm not into taking pills so what else would work?

Yes this past year has been rough with sleep, but then I have a 1 year old, so I suspect mine may have a different cause.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

I average 4 hours usually. If I'm lucky I get 5 1/2. My problem is I can't turn my brain off. I just lay there and think of the most random nonsense and toss and turn. Melatonin pills are hit and miss. I've just grown used to seeing things out of the corners of my eyes or shadow people that sleep depravation brings....lol2019 ram 4x4.....no toys currently

I'd consider limiting your alcohol consumption for a week or two, and see if that gets you back on a regular schedule. Sounds to me like you may heve developed a light physical dependency issue, excessive alcohol consumption (in frequency and/or amount) can most certainly disrupt your sleep cycle.
