            I haven't been able to get close enough to get a good shot, but I realized it may not be what I thought. Here is a better picture of whatever kind he is. He/she seems content here though. Is this a ringneck? I thought a ringneck literally had a white ring around its neck and was a different color, more brown?

                The first picture is definitely not a pintail. The pintail drake has long tail feathers in the center.

                                Lol, the first one he posted is a pintail drake. In that pic you just cant see the longer feather, they are always different lengths, but that is a pintail.

                                Yes, the second one is a ringneck. They do have a ring around their neck, but it is not white, its a really dark brown that almost blends into the blueish/black of the head. They are divers.
