He's backed up to the door for "protection," likely a low-mid level dealer that doesn't quite understand the benefits of keeping a low profile in that particular "profession."

because when you have shitty credit and make poor decisions you can drive like a balla with no guilt/fear/worries. You may never own it with the interest rate, but you don't care because you'll just trade it in on the next cool ride even if the current one gets repoed.

That's the mentality of a lot of members here. I've noticed it several times too and just kinda shake my head.

              I know what you mean.

I make good money, and I'm constantly astounded at what some people seem to be able to afford. I sure can't afford some of these two, three, or seven rides......

I must be doing something wrong

lol, I had two 06 Dodge Mega Cabs and my wife's 06 Accord sitting outside our double wide earlier this year! LOL

FWIW, the trucks were paid for with cash, we have excellent credit, but we got a sweetheart rental deal right around the time the housing bubble was just about to burst, and we would have been foolish to not take advantage of it

                we're house shopping now

but I do see that shit a LOT around here... I was guilty of it!

People ask me to help them with their finances; I ask them how much they save a month....zero. Ask how much they have in savings...zero. How much do you contribute to retirement accounts...zero. Yet, they have every gadget you can think of, more expensive clothes than I wear, and an $800 (maybe 2) car payment.

My truck was 52k and my house is 89k.

                      Then again, it's a 4 bedroom 2 bath brick on 10.5 acres
                      I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

                        $52,000!!!!????

The C6 Vette I bought before selling it to buy my house cost only 24.5k!! And I was nervous as hell cause that was by far the most expensive thing I've ever tried to buy. (house excluded)

Cars sure are getting more expensive nowadays...

This pic describes almost every house I saw in Detroit.
