  • Which of these motorcycle styles would you perfer?

Im itching for a bike again (first bike was a crotch rocket about 7 years ago) but this time, i just want some kind of cruiser to ride around town on nice days. Maybe to work (i work about 25 miles away), so would be nice to potentially save a little on gas. But mainly, just to ride around in on nice days and have fun with it.

I dont want to spend alot, in fact, im on a mission to spend very little, lol. Im not very crazy about the looks of the standard "harley" style bike. I dont really care for choppers either. But I do kinda dig cafe racers and some bobbers when done right.

I have come across 2 bikes that are very similar in price but 2 different styles. One is a cafe racer, other is a bobber. Im torn, I like them both. But im trying to determine which would be better for "me".

im 33 years old, recently single and have always kinda been more on the preppy side. Not too much, but Im far from your stereotypical "biker" if you know what i mean. so im wondering if the bobber style, really isnt right for me? I mean I like the way it looks, just wonder how well it suits me... maybe i shouldnt care about that and just get what I like.... but all that being said, im completely torn...

what are your thoughts on these 2?

I dont know if I would call it a bobber so much but I dig the 2nd bike better.

I did see a guy on a cafe style bike the other day and it was pretty sharp though. I dont know if I would want to do 25 miles hunched over on a cafe bike though, my back aches just thinking about it.

Im not a fan of either. If I was going to get another cruiser, it would be a Magna. Buddy of mine a few doors down has on, its a great all around bike.

Decent looking bike, but far from a bobber...

This. Cafe style bikes aren't very comfortable over any sort of distance. If there's even a remote chance you're going to commute on it, you're going to want the second one you posted. It will be much more comfortable.

The first one if the seat is changed.

That second one isn't a bobber; it's been lowered and has a shortened rear fender.

                            This is a bobber.

They are both good bikes. I have had a shadow and I loved it. I like the bobber look more than the cafe bike.

                              Here's my old bike.

And here's my new toy as of last weekend.

                              And now.
