I'd grab the Suzuki, put a real seat on it, and bring the bars back up to a less retarded height. You'd have a very cool, very rideable bike. I assume that most of the votes on here are going to be for the second bobber/chopper/American V-twin style shit, so I'll be the dissenting voice.
Nah, I'm with you. I like those cut-down '70s-80s import bikes in the cafe style. I also like them in a bobber style. Radiators never look good on this style of bike.
When the government pays, the government controls.
anyone know of a good dependable bike shop or maybe even just someone who is good with bikes and small engines who doesnt charge an arm and a leg, who could maybe do a tune up on it?
he told me it runs a little rich, and it smokes for a minute when it is first started up, but then goes away. probably wouldnt hurt to have it looked at.
Good looking xs650 46Tbird, I like the triumphs, bsa's, xs bikes when they've been chopped and bobbed. There's a really nice root beer colored triumph i've seen on the net before.

I dig that. I like a lot of the bobber-style import bikes, but they vary widely in tastefulness so I avoid saying that out loud.
My big cheese at the moment is flat-tracker style bikes, specifically the stuff that Mule does. Some of it can be a little overwrought, but most of it is pretty tasteful and and quality is top notch. I'm a fan because they have all of the style of a cafe-style bike, but with ergonomics that don't preclude riding the bike for more than 15 minute stints.
