Get good experience, usually sales can transfer well at a lot of different types of careers. Network, and get a good resume together.

Networking - knew someone who got me the "in" at all my post-college jobs except my first. I was contacted by a recruiter for that one. I'm not making dfwm baller money though.

I liked the Southlake Focus Group when i was unemployed. Reach out and network.

Showed up to an interview and told them who I was related to. I was hired on the spot. Took about 5 minutes.

Get a good degree. 100% of my class had jobs before graduation, as did the 20 or so classes before us. Many of us had several to choose from. CIS, Tarleton State. Sadly, many of the teachers left that handled the networking that secured this, so it's no longer the guaranteed thing.

TWC actually does all the hiring for some companies. I don't know any here, but in smaller towns they do.
