If I'm buying 85 pizzas at once they better not cost me $17.10 each

So how much do you think this guy should have gotten? I don't I'd go any more than about $30. It's not going to take more than an hour for him to load and unload those pizzas. It's not like he made the pizzas, or has to share the tip with the poor bastards that did.

Id ask how many trips the dude had to make and tip him accordingly.

I'm going to add a section for a tip on all of my invoices.

If you don't like to tip, cook your own damn food.

Tips should ALWAYS be based on service, not just the sale amount.

I took a pizza and bread to a guy the other night his total was $21.57, hey gave me $40 and said keep the change. I was in complete shock. I saved his address and name so I can send him a thank you letter. As stated in a previous thread the fuckers that don't tip me or tip less than $2-3 I save there info as well, only they don't get thank you letters in the mail. Gas is expensive again and my company doesn't pay for my gas.
                Wanna see my care face???

Every pizza place I worked for as a teenager gave 50 to 75 cents a delivery for "vehicle expenses." Are they not doing that any more?

Do pizza delivery drivers get mileage? The irs says its like. $.54/mile.

                    If not, that sucks.

I got a $1 a delivery paid out nightly by the pizza joint back in 1997.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Some drivers get .50 or a dollar per delivery which by IRS standards means they can't claim mileage. Plus, to claim milage you have to have a log of all your trips and deliveries. Not a cumulative per day, but every trip, start and end.

I usually tip 2-3 bucks and leave it at that.

I said this same thing the last time and was lynched-mobbed by the forum waiters/waitresses/busboys.

I've never tipped the pizza guy less than $5

I understand using the sale amount as a guideline, or just doubling the tax. However, before I even get the bill I'm considering what the service was like. I'm not tipping 20 percent of $75 if I only saw the waiter three times.

No they do give .60 or .80, but hell on a Friday night I go through about 1/3 of a tank, if I don't make good tips it is like paying for gas to go work for minimum wage. This is the reason I keep all contact info for the cheap fuckers.

This. I don't give a fuck what they make. You want a little extra, you gotta give me a little extra or they just get 5 bux regardless of the total. I'm not talking about delivery drivers though since I never order delivery
