Holy fuck balls, $85.00 at a strip center Italian and no waiter/waitress'?

Italian food is just as affordable as Mexican food, no way I pay that much. We went to Maggianos last week, two entrees, freah hot bread, two glass of wine with tip it was less than $75.00, no way this place was as good or better.

It was for four people and it was mediocre food at best. Birthday girl got to pick the place.

That's self service, no tip necessary.

But some of the best food I've had has come out of strip centers and hole in the wall places. It's an easy way for Mom & Pops to compete with these shitty ass chains (Maggiano's) by not spending fortunes they don't have on stand alone buildings/real estate.

I know you have seen me post about the best Italian food place in the world is in Plano at a strip mall. We only went to Maggianos because we won a gift card during Christmas and it is pretty good as my half Italian wife has stated. Her place is in Plano or at home with her homemade gravy. Still, four people comes out to about $21.00 a person, no way this place was that good...
