Second off, price per unit of alcohol will nearly always be leas with beer. Again the only place I know of where liquor is cheaper is fry street during 50 cent wells.
Third, energy drink shots are the definition of rookie
Fourth, anyone who has had a proper college experience knows it doesn't matter if it's beer or alcohol...you can hit the same spot either way.
I've been to enough dollar beer nights when I was in your ghetto, and 50 cent well nights in college to know that it doesn't matter.

Shots are the most effective way to keep a low-ish bar tab when out and about. However, each bar charges differently. At our favorite watering hole, two Robert bombs will run me $10. At our least favorite they are $17.
everyone to Snatch Napkins place. free booze

I can drink beer all night long but liquor gets to me quicker. A few long islands, shots, or strong drinks will do the trick. Cost per alcohol will be cheaper with liquor if you order the cheap stuff, bar tenders do negotiate.

Show me the numbers y'all are using to determine liquor is ever going to be cheaper...even with a 1.5 shot equal in price to a pint, it would have to be 45 proof compared to a light beer at 4.2%.
First, shots are just about always more than a pint
Second, even if you go with higher proof, you can just as easily go with BL platinum or yella belly.
