I've seen couple really clean ones listed for $32-33k. I'll post some deals up if I happen to run into some

I'm looking for either a older Z06, or newer non-Z, but I suppose I'd look at older non-Z's too. Budget up to low 40's, thx!

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's a sports car; it's going to ride stiffer than your average family hauler.

What's funny is its the tires. My dad's car rides horrible with GY Supercar runflats, on the PS2s it rides like his BMW... Its that much different.

Not sure if you found one yet, but I noticed a 2007 Lingenfelter C6 with 70k miles for $29,995 the other day. I have no idea if it was really a Lingenfelter or what something like that would even be worth. The salesman was trying to sell me on "600hp". If I get some free time, I'll go check it out better.

Should have updated this thread, bumped into a white e46 m3 that I liked and made a decent deal on (spent about 1/2 the would-be c6z budget). So basically I got a lesser car, but I really like it anyway

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Thanks (added pic)! Bit of a learning-curve (new to me platform) but I like what I see so far. The main stuff is pretty straight forward, I like the I6 motor (both layout and power), SMG transmission is fun to use, and the car came w/ a few mods (Dinan intake and exhaust, struts/shocks, C/C plates, springs, sway bars, other suspension bits), I also have brand new rubber all the way around.

I'm a good ways away, but @ 60k it will need a fairly thorough maintenance, plenty of time for saving on that though.

So ya, pretty stoked so far, really fun car to drive and I think it looks pretty nice too!

A c5 FRC with ls3 swap and suspension would be the only vette that could win my heart over that m3.

Nice looking car. C6 prices are a little inflated right now. I can't seem to find one for a good price. I bought an 05 with 45kmi almost 4 years ago for $25k and they are still going for about that now.

                                Never shoulda sold the car.
