Word, I didn't know DFWMustangs was your personal army. When your done with them, can I borrow them? Got ripped off on Craigslist and don't feel like taking care of it myself.

Wasn't looking for a lynch mob folks. Calm down. More looking for ideas to make their life a little less enjoyable.

Lol cops involved? They basically blew them off and said to catch them in the act then they will step in.

As always no help when you need them to be.

They stashed it when they showed. Cops found stuff with his wife's name and address and they still didn't make arrest. What the fuck?

Just because stolen property was found at a location does not mean that whoever was present at the time the police arrived at that location is guilty of committing the burglary.

People here bitch and moan about police abusing authority, but in this case if the police would have made arrests without an affirmative link or probable cause, it would have been OK?

An investigation will be done, and if there is sufficient evidence to warrant an arrest, a warrant can be issued. But until then, if police misconduct occurs, it can taint the case and ruin any chance of prosecution.

I think he wants you to interpret the law in the most ridiculous way possible. Or does that only apply when you are butthurt?

You are the one that appears "butthurt".

Just curious, is possession of stolen property not enough to arrest someone?

Wouldn't the OP be considered an eye witness to charge these punks? Was there any finger prints left at the scene?

I highly suggest a home monitoring system to any home owners that don't have one. It's fairly inexpensive and it provides added security that most punks don't know how to get around.

if its unknown to the person that it was stolen then no.

So if a person in a stolen car claims they borrowed it from a ficticious guy you let him go? I highly doubt it.
