  • Anyone know a shop in Fort Worth that takes phh thats good?

I need to take my service truck to a shop and have it worked on(brakes, fuel leak, and a seat). It´s an 08 f450 and a lot of smaller shops wont take it. Im tired of dropping my truck off at the ford dealer and them explaining that they cant even look at it for several days. The only small shop in town that takes phh is firestone but I dont know any techs there. Id rather know someone that does good work. There was a shop by my house that took phh but they dont deal with them anymore.
    Anyone have a suggestion?
    Thanks

They handle all of the paper work for maintenance and repairs. They dont own our trucks they just deal with the repairs and such. Apprently everyone hates dealing with them so it´s hard to find a shop that will use them.

Would a heavy duty shop take it? You might check with big truck dealers.. Like Kenworth, Peterbuilt, etc.

May not help but could be worth a shot.

LOL. Our company uses PHH for our fleet and yes they are a pain in the ass to deal with. JiffyLube accepts them I know, because that's where we get our service done. Other than that I don't know because we have local franchise shops here that I'm sure you don't have. Call the 1-800 PHH number on the back of your card and ask, they will tell you based off of your zip code.

There is an International Harvester shop on I35 and Pharr just north of downtown FTW. I used to by parts for my power strokes there.

The big rig shops are just as bad as the ford dealer because they're so busy. Id have to take it to Petro or something to get quick service and even then it's a craps shoot. I called firestone by the ford dealer and told them I had an 08 f450 service truck. Get there and the service clown came out and said "oh, we cant do trucks that big". Then took it to NTB and they said the same thing. Took it to the NTB by ridgmar mall and they're working on it right now. I'll see how the work turns out.

That was one of my customers. And i bought some parts for the f350 7.3 there, which was an international engine. Their parts were like half of the Ford's prices.

I was gonna recommend taking it to the NTB in Roanoke cause that's my old shop. Let me know if they don't take care of you. I deal with PHH and many other fleets services on a daily basis and they are all a major pain in the ass. If they end up not wanting to work on it at that store I will get you in touch with people that will. I know of 2 very good techs that will have no problems on it.
