House was in the county at time shop was built but is not considered "Red Oak". Shop was built with permits even though they were not needed since it was "county" at the time.

Steel shop? You should try and negotiate it in that you can keep the structure..

Then you can have it taken down and reassembled wherever you end up to save some money!

shop is steel, thats a thought.

Just a lot of unknowns and as I mentioned, it will be several years down the road before the construction reaches us.

The lawyer advice is probably your best bet, honestly.. There have certainly been a lot of examples of it's use around here locally, with Jerry World and all of the freeway projects. You can probably find a lot of info online too.

construction is supposed to start at 287 and Ovilla rd and be at Westmoreland and Ovilla rd by 2015.

It will not be the same path tht it is now, it will be a strait shot instead of zig zagging like it does now thru there.

I did not pay much attention to that side since it was not near my house.

What drama? If the gubmint wants it they can pay it off, if they want to lowball, I'm sure the bank holding.the note has the ability.to lawyer up and get what is owed on the property.

Homeowner just has to be able to make payments until the time comes.to vacate the premises. And homeowner is holding the cash borrowed and can do other things with it.

I see no justification for making Ovilla Rd wider. It's not like there's rush hour traffic jams on it every day.

When is the last time you where on Ovilla RD at 5pm? Not to mention they are building like crazy all over and a lot of new stuff on the horizon. It is better they stay ahead of the game VS catching up.
