                    I don't know how those things work but I just recently saw one for the first time. You can't deposit those at a bank. I assume you have to take the money order back to the post office to collect the funds.

                        The one I saw had no micr information at the bottom. Don't know how a bank processes it.

                              I am sure they are. I had to have seen a fake like previously said, or it was not really a money order but some kind of internal post office document.

                              TBH, money orders are a bitch in the banking industry. There is so much fraud on them its amazing. They don't follow banking standards and generally are a pain in the ass to people that handle them.
