    Workers still cleaning up the mess.









    I ended up deciding to call off the rest of the Gulf Coast and hung out in NO a little longer than expected. It was nice to get back though.



    Interesting trip. I think New Orleans has usurped Austin as my favorite city to visit in the US. Everyone was always smiling, and laughing(and drunk)and talkative. I think I'll have to get down there more often.

      I almost forgot, headed back I was regularly at 100+ while the road was clear. Near the Texas Border I spot a Louisiana State Trooper motorcycle cop running radar under a bridge, right as I am already passing him at triple digits. I look back with an "I'm fucked" feeling and he is leaning against his bike, head down, screwing with his cell phone. I don't think he ever even saw me. lmao

        Whens your journey down US 1 through the keys? 7 mile bridge is pretty nice to drive especially now.

            BTW, would it kill you to apply some pimp juice to the tires? I know you have access to multiple brands and applicators...

              Wouldn't have lasted ten minutes once I crossed into LA. The roads suck in that state.

                  Sounds like an awesome trip Eric. Went there myself with some friends for a bachelor party and had an awesome time. Gotta be the only trip were we walked everywhere once we got there until we left. Definitely want to make a trip back. Gotta admit though I don't think I could do a trip by myself like that.

                      Definitely don't drive the AlCan then! It was nice walking every where. Didn't take the 5.0 out until the last day.

                        Damn man youre making me miss the 504. I think that restaurant Oceana was on Ramsay's Kitchen nightmares if i remember correctly. you've got balls driving your new 5.0 around the quarter...and especially parking it there. no way would i do that.

                              It's been cleaned up a lot. Had several people throw a friendly wave at me. That's not to say I wasn't a little nervous though. haha
