Nah, some people are just like that. My brother has been with his girl over 10 years and never married her nor will he ever and she knows this. They split bills/kid expenses, pay their own way for everything besides they flip flop who buys dinner and no money ever crosses unless it's a gift or loan. Heck, he gets off the hook without buying flowers, gifts for holidays/birthdays, etc.
