I never raced myself but I grew up at the tracks in Kansas and Missouri. My dad raced a street stock for several years, my uncle raced a late model for several years, and my other uncle raced midgets. When my dad quit racing he was usually working on someone else's car or in their pits. I went to Devils Bowl weekly for many years when I first moved to this area but over the years the car count fell so I really only go to special events now. I like to occasionally make a trip to the Chili Bowl or a World of Outlaws event up north but that's about it for me. Really wish there were more interest in it down here.

And brand new bias ply tires dont stand up to sheet metal bodies....you WILL cut a few off the car that were otherwise perfect.....
