Southwestvacations.com They are the cheapest and offer direct flights to and from 10 times a day.

Everyone will have varying opinions on where to stay. The truth is you probably won't spend a lot of time there anyway. We're always on the run when we're there. If the weather's nice, you can walk up and down the strip all night and check out every casino along the way. Don't forget downtown for one night. Old school casino's, but pretty cool light shows and live entertainment.

Check our the 'Freemont Experience' at least one night (old downtown vegas)- its very cool.

Don't waste you time at Gold and Silver Pawn (PawnStars place). You'll wait it line forever and it ain't worth the hype.

Don't spend a dime in Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville- no talent ass clown

Lol, have no desire to go to Gold and Silver. I've met the guys before (pawn convention) and was not impressed with any of them.
(edited to add: I have met Les and Seth from Detroit, and those are two legit guys. Very down to earth and not caught up with the fame)

What kind of prices should I expect to pay for meals, etc. while there? I'm sure it's all overpriced, but just curious HOW overpriced.

Pretty high. Even the McDonalds on the strip ain't cheap. LOL! We usually eat a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet. If it's not comped, expect $25-$28 a head. Skip lunch.

Bring some walking shoes and make sure the old lady has plenty of tampons just in case.

Just got back yesterday. We stayed at ARIA. I'd highly recommend it.

Our flight + hotel was right at $1000. We booked through Travelocity. With a show (Zarkana): $239 for two tickets, dinner at Jean Georges: $215 w/ drinks and gratuity, Aria buffet for breakfast: $38, $$$ to play tables, Titanic exhibit at Luxor $75, $$$ to play tables, Bellagio buffet for dinner: $50, souvenirs: $$$$, and $$$ to play tables....I managed to spend around $1500. I walked out with $600 from Blackjack (I was +/- $1000) at one point.

Bottom line, we had an awesome time and are already planning our return trip.

The view of the strip from our room.

Everything electronic in the room is controlled using this touch screen.

Night club cost $45 if resident Dj is there. Sux but it's fun.

I usually go to Vegas 2-3 times a yr. Got free place to stay so that helps.

I like Belagio, Flamingo Casinos. Been to about all of them. They are always pack, it's what ever you like.

Margerittaville good for the drinks. I always get a Booze in a Blender, and hit the casinos with it.

If you are up and moving around and there is a pool party, hit it up. The eye candy is amazing. Wear your sunglasses so wifey doesn't catch you.

I could care less, I'm single so it's fun!

                              Gamble
                              Get drunk
                              Go to strip bar
                              drink more
                              puke
Awake the next day at 3 PM with no memory of how you got back

                              REPEAT

I will be there in 3 weeks for a honeymoon staying at the Vdara in one of the 270 degree view rooms. Booked on Expedia for just under $1000 for 4 nights, direct flight on American, and two free shows tickets (chose Beatles Love). We are planning on doing SkyJump at the Stratosphere the 2nd night there. http://www.stratospherehotel.com/Tower/Rides/SkyJump
