Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Do you have any backup data as to why you should make what you want? You have a degree right?Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

My health insurance is EXCELLENT right now, though like I mentioned, if it isn't quite as good, the pay increase will cover the difference.
Yeah, I have tried to keep my head out of the clouds thinking about making a months pay every two weeks.
I've got a degree, physics, not directly related but helps to prove my problem solving abilities. The link posted in Roscoe's first post shows the salary (only one reported) to be $47k-51K. I am hoping for $45K but will be happy at $40K. If I am up against experienced builders, or if it comes up, my platform is going to be that I am green and that is good for them. I will learn how to build houses the way that they build houses, the way that they want things done.
IMO, stress that last part, and do it in a positive way. We tend to hire green people, because we don't want to bad habits developed by a competing company. We can train them our way, the right way.
Granted, it doesn't apply to every industry. But way too many people just accept the negative stigma that surrounds "no experience", when they shouldn't.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

The one thing that gets to me when I go through my application frenzies
every year, I managed to learn the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and ace the class in the length of a semester, but there has yet to be anyone willing to give me a shot.

A quick update. Getting ready to take an elevator ride to the third floor here in Plano. My third and final interview is in 30 min with the VP of Highland Homes. I am not sure whether I am the last of 8 applicants or one of two applicants out of the three that made the first cut.
