I bought some of that citrus cleaner last year from a D2D. She game me the single mom, drug recovery song and dance and praised this miracle cleaner for everything. I keep her on the porch, then told her to prove the cleaner works. I had her clean the rims/brake dust on both my daughters cars. I then bought her $25 concentrated cleaner after she did all that work. It was worth it IMO-pretty good product.

It's a numbers game for them. Knock on 10 - 15 doors and you get at least one sale. I've only bought from one D2D sales and that was a home exterminator that was reputable. I had zero issues with them...
I really dislike the guys that sell magazines. They come off with the line that they are working to get off the streets and make an honest living. It comes across to me as a slightly implied threat that they might rob you if you don't buy a magazine subscription...
Since moving to the new neighborhood, I've only had two solicitors. One guy painting numbers on the curb (told him to keep walking) and some Jehovahs Witnesses (offered them some water). But beyond those, this place has been surprisingly quiet.Comment

I work from home and it's amazing how many people come by your house in the middle of the day selling shit.
I'll be polite and hear what they usually have to say but haven't bought much at all. I did take up the guy for fence staining.
At least they are getting out and not relying solely on Obama.Comment
