Jude ended up tossing his cookies. We learned to dose them with Dramamine before the flight if we were seated behind the wing.

my son has been flying since he was 15 months old.....drinks, a paci, a boob, a bottle, anything to help him swallow to clear his ears to keep them popping....but gees...some of you guys are silly....get some headphones and read a book....I should be allowed to fly with my kid with out an ass slapping him.
On our landing in Fairbanks when he was 15 months old, it didn't matter that I had him drinking from his sippy cup....his ears still wouldn't pop. There was nothing I could do and he cried the whole way down. Once we landed, he settled down. There was nothing I could do and I tried everything. The other 3 landings went fine. Just that one......
so with that being said, no one knows if the mom didn't know what to do in this instance with the kid. It could have just been one of those days.....kinda like what you all do everyday....just a pissy, whiney, gripy kind of day....and nothing she tried would work. The asshat should have just dealt with it, came on to here or his message board of choice and vented about the crazy broad with the kid that wouldn't shut up. Then y'all could all tell your little stories about how bad things were for you too.
okay, feel free to bash me cause I will forget I posted this in 2 hours....cause that is what having a 9 year old and a 6 month old do to women...Thanks and have a great day.
edit
Oh and I did give him benadryl per our doctors advice.....

It's not being silly when it's a major inconvenience to literally every other person on the plane.

Sure, he went overboard by slapping the kid. But I should be allowed to fly without some snot nosed, booger eating, sticky fingered bastard screaming their head off.

IMO, that's fine. That's 20 minutes tops. It's the constant screaming for an hour or more that pisses me the fuck off.

And that's where the problem lies. No, he shouldn't have just dealt with it. It's inconsiderate, and rude to everyone on the plane. Parents that fly with kids like this, are fucking assholes. Seriously. Rent a goddamn car. Nobody wants to hear that shit. Have a little decency for once. And I have kids, I do understand. I understand that everyone else on the plane wants to kill me when my kid won't shut the fuck up. Therefore, I keep them off of planes until we are past that stage.
If I had the bankroll, I'd start an adult only airline. The market is there. I'd happily pay a 20% premium to not have to deal with it. And so would every other person I know that travels for business.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Asshole of the year is now the person who deleted the "thanks to Kim" thread.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
