      If you take any electronics the Chinese will go through it and have been known to plant spyware and keyloggers. They will also capture any insecure data such as usernames and passwords that get transmitted through their networks.

            John Ringo's Posleen Wars series or Kildar series or Looking Glass series.

              Ender's Game has been my favorite so far. Dune is a stiff read. Mass Effect and series like that just pale in comparison to a good writer like Orson.

              Back in the day I picked up one of those shrink wrapped stacks of sci-fi books for a couple bucks from Half Price Books and found some pretty good reads by authors I would have never checked out otherwise.

                Didn't like the movie but loved the book. I don't like the whole time travel theme.
