  • Going to China today, need a good sci-fi book to read

Recommendations? I've read a lot of Asimov, Orwell, Iain M. Banks, Orson Scott Card, Palahniuk...

Need a recommendation, only a couple hours before I leave for the airport. TIA.

Go get some Ray Bradbury. There should be collections out since he died recently (last year I think).

Satan Burger is sort of scifi. Angel Dust Apocalypse if you like short stories. Then there is always The Haunted Vagina.

On second thought The Haunted Vagina might be more aptly classified as horror. Someone should give a second opinion.

Do it! Let me know, I have some friends in Freiberg that would show you around. I was supposed to go to Heidelberg next month but it has to wait.

We went to Heidelberg for a wedding a few years ago. Id like to go back when I have more time.

I've only read I Am Legend, but it was pretty great and all the movies and TV shows based on Richard Matheson's works that I've seen (What Dreams May Come, Stir of Echoes, Duel, Twilight Zone episodes - including Nightmare at 20,000 Feet) were pretty interesting.
