Could've killed him without a gun on the spot, but I don't see how he was found guilty either way.

      huh?????

He was ARRESTED immediately following the murder.....which is standard procedure. He hasn't been convicted of anything.

This guy gets a pass on the board but not the officers that "lit the cabin on fire"? He will be guilty of a lesser included but not murder.

Lesson to be learned. Always have a gun.

well it is not like the officers have a great track record last week in how they dealt with the whole incident to begin with.

Two separate incidents, officers, and departments. The officers that fired on the truck will and should be punished.

Not at all uncommon in instances of severe shock.

Seeing two of your kids run down by a drunk driver should qualify as a shock inducing, stressful situation.

Clean shoot... Id like to see the evidence. Im guessing that the lack of evidence will allow him to walk.

The officers are trained professionals and I'd hardly compare that to a guy who just had his world destroyed in an instant by a drunk.

In a smaller place, I'd expect the jury to find him not guilty.

In Houston, Austin or Dallas it's a toss-up due to the demographics of the jury.
