    Are you referring to the monthly payment, trade in, cash down, term/rate?

      i figure the price i want to pay for the car over 60 months @ 0% say 30k/60 = $500 a month.

      so either they have to give me more for my trade in or drop the price as much as possible to get close to that payment... its pretty easy these days to use a calculator to see what the "monthly payment" equates to in selling price.

        This. i used to be in car sales, and as long as you know how the numbers add up, then you can play the same game, and win usually.

          And they really love it when you come in with no trade and pre approved financing @ 0.9% and looked up the internet pricing and know about all the rebates.

          Either take out the squares or like others said know going in what they all need to be to get to the #s you want to see so you can play either angle with them.
