Cheapest would be a 4.8/5.3 with a 4l60, but fuck those shits. I would love one with a 60e but I'm itching for a manual. Not sure I would want to use a ZF.Ded

Er, scratch that, it sounds good until you find there isnt a spot for the starter on the block...Last edited by Baron Von Crowder; 02-12-2013, 02:37 PM."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

I thought about this same thing and have been hung up on it for a few weeks although the BMW wasnt on my list. I was thinking either a fox or 60's or early 70's muscle car. LQ4LQ9/L92 with a S480. I think I have about talked myself into waiting a while though when I have a little more money. The new direct port LT motors look promising but it will be a while before they become reasonably priced.
I vote the 4 eye though
**EDIT** Oh and some helpful advice, I dont know what the aftermarket is like for the BMW or 240SX but one thing I figured out when I built my old Datsun was being different is cool but having the aftermarket that mustangs have is a real time and $$$ saver! I hated having to fab just about everything although in the end it led to a more unique car.

Luckily these other two also have a huge aftermarket comparable to a fox.Ded
