Yeah, I haven't put a cue together in over a year...

CJ says he's trying going to open another one, I hope so.

Actually I think the pool community is alive and healthy where league play is regarded. We just dont have any REAL pool rooms, other than the Billiard Den, but they have no diamond tables and their 9 ft GC tables are 9.00 an hour.

You can walk into the shittiest bar in Oklahoma and there will be a diamond bar box. I cant think of a place in Dallas that has ANY
      diamond tables.
      Vortex rear stand $75

I haven't played much, either. When we sold our last house, we moved into one of our rentals, until we built a house...one thing led to another, and we've been here for over 2-years. We went ahead and bought a couple of acres and have the plans, so we'll be building soon. I'll finally have a nice billiard room again...I have one now, but it's doing double duty as a storage room. My game has definitely suffered!

There was a nice little place with several 9' diamonds and a lot of good players/action. It wasnt in the best of areas, but it wasnt too terrible. (635/Plano rd)...it didn't last long, though...

Yea that place was called Diamonds. It was actually perfect for action, but like you said....dead and gone.

DO NOT go to The Classy Lady on E Rosedale! It's been a few years since I have been in there so they might not even have tables any more.
