  • Anyone have any suggestions on a...

I need a small, concealable voice recorder. Something that can pick up a conversation from several feet away, or further preferably. Yes, something sneaky, so the other person does not know it is around. Anyone have any suggestions on a not too expensive one?

Perhaps there's an app for that? No suspcious devices needed.

There is, but it doesn't pick up the voices very well unless they are really close to the phone from what I've read on some reviews.

Spy Supply seems to have closed. Doing a Yahoo search, a few links to it say closed, the domain name is no longer registered also.

Some road racing guys have had good luck with these cheapo #16 FOB cameras from china, theres a few reviews online if you search for them. Actually have a decent picture too.

If you're not in the conversation, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to record two third-parties without their knowledge and consent.

Actually he is correct, It's a title 3 violation/ federal laws to record a conversation you are not a party to...Texas is a 1 party state, only 1 party has to have knowledge of recording..

I'd be in it. Not worried about legalities, just proof someone keeps saying something over and over, and is incorrect, then denies it.
