I like Texas and will always be a native, but for the outdoorsman and summer/fall/spring weather, nothing beats rural PA. You can hike, bike, hunt on public game land, kayak, fish, ski/snowboard. It's like another culture as far as that stuff goes. It does have its drawbacks like winter and such though. The views are amazing as well.

One thing they left out of that list........
Tubing on the river. Cold beer, hot women, and cooking yourself in the front while getting tube rash on the back, but being drunk enough that you don't give a shit about either one.
Personally, I haven't traveled extensively, but I did spend a year in Wyoming . I love it here in San Antonio, and will be a Texan till the day I die.
Why San antonio?
I was born here.
No winters and liberal nutfucks like the northeast.
No earthquakes and liberal nutfucks like California.
No tornados like the Midwest.
No hurricanes like the coastline.
No floods like the southeastern states.
1 month of winter
1 month of spring
1 month of fall
9 months of summer.
Fuck yeah, I don't plan on living anywhere else."You wouldn't know what crazy was if Charles Manson was eating Fruit Loops on your front porch"

To each their own right? I didn't grow up here, and I'd move if it was feasible. But Texas is pretty cool in its own right. I just prefer nature, seasons, and cool cities. but you posted this instead
I have secured a one year visa to live and work in Australia and just booked my plane ticket today. On January 13th I will depart Dallas, potentially forever. If I can obtain citizenship in Australia (which I will actively try to do) and this nation elects another Democrat scumbag in 2016 and the nation continues on its current path with no signs of recovery, then I will formally renounce my United States Citizenship.
where does it say anything about traveling and seeing the world?
oh and i thought you were all super gi joe with all your fully automatic weapons.. what's the matter too afraid to fight with those guns when the time comes?
