For the clueless, my statement was not my opinion of homos, but actual information from departments at the state of AZ and US DHHS documentation and both state and Federal rulings in regards to CPS. The fact of the matter is that if someone who was gay wanted to be in the boy scouts they could do so today and just not tell anyone. This issue has turned into another opportunity for militant gays to try to ram their bullshit into the mainstream psyche. Not every gay person agrees with this nonsense.

As for the leap that gay=pedophile, they are both deviant sexual lifestyles so the leap isn't a far one to make. Personally I would never have my son be in a troop led by a gay scoutmaster.

I say all this as someone who has no problem with most gay folks I meet. They are just people. But much like Elvis I have a right to regulate who my children come in contact with in various settings.

A fact that seems to get lost in the wash here lately is that word "tolerance" is a two way street.

As much as I push for gay rights, I do actually agree with(or at least understand and not disagree with) both Paul and Al on this and understand the concern as a parent. It's never going to be a perfect world. There will always be variables.
