Yeah, I'm flying to Surprise, AZ for Rangers Spring Training in a few weeks and booked for $88 each way. Sweet deal until you add in the fees.

Do you know where you are staying? What do you want to do while there?

Southwest flies into Ft.L and then its like 30 minutes to South Beach, any hotel in that area is walking distance to anywhere in South Beach. You really don't need to go anywhere else everything you need is there, night clubs, beach, boardwalk, food, shopping and they have buses/trolleys that take you up and down A1A.
Cuban food, 8th street (calle ocho) you'll pass one every other block. This is my place just up the A1A La Vaca Gorda, share a plate unless you are hungry, get there early and stay late, the people watching is great, its small, but don't let that fool you. The Churrsasco is my favorite, they have a website now too.

Oh and while at South Beach, everyone walks around in g-string type bathing suits, so I hope your wife doesn't mind you looking, hell she is going to get an eyeful as well most guys are wearing thongs too...

G strings and no tops, canadians in speedos. If your on south beach you really don't need a car. Last time I stayed at the fontainebleau.

Either way, bring a lot of money.

I used to stay at the Fountainbleau when it was owned by Hilton, I haven't been since they changed ownership, but it is a nice ass Hotel. Several resturants, a shopping mall, a giant pool, with swim up bar(s) on the boardwalk. You don't have to go anywhere else really.

It's where they filmed Scarface, Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis movies and Frank Sinatra, the King have performed there and many more back in the day.

They filmed parts of Goldfinger there too.

                      not my wife, but maybe.

my thigh slapper should be enough for her so hopefully she doesn't spend all day gawking.

Booking the tickets tonight hopefully, getting pretty stoked. she's pretty open minded and i'm not too difficult. I rather not rent a car if possible as I don't know the area and don't want to deal with driving in an area I don't know. South Beach seems like the place to go though.

Gotta find a flight that works with both our schedules, but hopefully we'll book it tonight.
