Yeah, i messaged them last night. They're in Dallas, which might be a bit far. I'll wait and see if i can find one closer, or go to my moms and take the one i had there off. But thats in W FW, so that's a drive too.

The Fios one shows 11.5dB at all ports........

Theoretical loss for an 8 way "passive" power splitter is 9.0 dB (probably what Fry's has). I would imagine insertion loss would add 2-3 dB more loss to the overall input to output port loss. Sop the 11.5 dB loss sounds about right

If you want less loss, you will need a splitter that has some amplification built in.

LOL....OK, understand. I looked up what SWM was....
