He will have to. Not buying one of those.

Id go with the Altima. Nice keyless entry and push button start. The CVT is a nice nonshifting transmission.

I disagree, a lot of times the older stuff is tougher than the newer stuff. Look at the 92-96 F150's, or the 88-98 Silverados, or hell even new edge and SN95 mustangs. There are next to no electronics to work on, engines that should go to 300K easy enough, decent transmissions, etc. Now if you have a mid 90's LT1, or a 2.7L dodge, or the Ford Contour based cars, then yeah, you will have all kinds of problems.

At least with the older shit, you have had time to weed out any and all problems.

Cheap car imo, or he can buy his own (f150 inline six). If you have the cash though and you think he deserves it, why not? Taurus ftw.

Trying to sell my 96 Gt vert 5 speed right now, $3200 for it. I don't think you will find a nicer one for cheaper than I am asking. FYI, it's my personal car, not a car lot car.

Don't get him anything too nice. Those same punks that stole his bike are probably old enough to steal his car now.
