Jose get the Mach 1 Bro! I love that Body style & they just did a Bolt On test in the latest MM&FF Mag & the Mach 1 edged out the Cobra by a few HP

But if you stay SN95. Get a 98 Cobra, Dont get the 97 & down. The 98 make 20more HP from what I understand. Something to do with the heads flowing more

Yup, one of my brothers has a '99 cobra that had the same mods as my mach (4.10s, full exhaust besides headers, lowered), and I whooped him every time, no matter what. Now that he has LT headers, he pulls pretty evenly with me, but I can usually get a fender.


If you do get one of the cobras...don't get a B-headed sn95 turd. Despite the "close" hp ranges and the sn having a solid rear, it's slower (from every one of my experiences) and looks, meh. 99-01 2nd. Make sure the '99 has the chalk marks for the correction though...you'll feel it too. If it hasn't been done, it'll almost feel like a geared GT

Thanks guys...I use to have a 97 Cobra with an built auto/D1SC and love it...so I want to go with a 4v mod motor for sure.
