Just because she was lets say texting to said guy all the time and late at night, she will just say they are friends to judge.

For texting, you have to have proof like. "I can't wait to fuck you again" and among other things.
That might have made a difference in the 80's but infidelity doesn't matter nowadays. Divorce is now a fairly automated process. At times I wish judges would have to look at a case without the people involved, no names, just the facts.

Doesn't matter who did what. Her filing first gives her a slight advantage. The hole between her legs gives her a huge one. Honestly man, hire an attorney and quick. Remember... Good and Cheap. Pick one, you can't have both.

Seriously. Hire one. I know a damn good one. One of the best in Dallas. But he costs $800/hr. You wanted to keep it civil, and it was until she figured out she could get a bigger piece of the pie. She's ok with 50/50 now, but it's going to get ugly, and that will change too. If you can afford it, fight it and spend the money now. You can pay now, or pay later, but you're going to pay.

Only fair that you get to claim at least one of the kids...

I did this on my decree and it makes a big difference every year come tax time...
This!!! Should be easy. You each claim 1 child. Be firm on this. And don't agree to every other year. Since two kids are involved, you both benefit the most this way when it comes to tax time.

Don't listen to this. Doesn't matter. Proof or no proof. I wouldn't even mention it. The judge won't care one bit.

You are a kid, you've got no idea how this works. Don't listen to this, either.

OP - Be a dick. Fight for what's right. Don't yell, cuss, scream, etc to her on the phone, in person, or in front of your kids. Don't bad mouth her in front of your kids, or to her friends and family. Let your lawyer do the dirty work. Kill her with kindness when you speak to or see her.

25% of your income and you're going to have to cover health care. Even with 50/50, this is what she's entitled to. You or your lawyer will have to get her to agree to anything less than that. Good luck getting a judge to rule on anything other than that, if she won't agree.

And no, it's not 25% of a difference in salary. It's 25% of your gross income. Her income doesn't matter.
Fuck everything about that! TO MEXICO!!!!!

The only people that may give a fuck if she cheated would be a jury.

I just went through a divorce and got 50/50 joint managing conservatorship...kept the house....and only pay $500 mo in cs. Let her atty do most of the legwork and break her bank first. Then call katy lewis at oneill attorneys, this chick managed cordell and cordell office and loves to litigate. Does her homework and comes to court prepared. She represented my neighbor as well and he has 50 50 custody. You will not have to pay 25% of your income my attorney offered off set cs and the judge...a mommy judge...agreed and my ex is a great mom with no bad history. You' re looking at 7-12k depending on how long your ex drags it out.
