I had a friend back in high school that wrecked his dirt bike and hit his head on a pipe fence. He walked into the ambulance and was awake and conscious at JPS hospital but died in the next 2 days from his brain swelling. I am sure you know more about this than me. I am just speaking from a past experience.

While these people that perform, are amazing. I don't find having the balls to play a sport is worth someone's life. Is having your name in a book, worth the loss of living a full life with family and friends? I think not.

That boy probably lived more life in his short time than most people will in their long lifetimes. What's the point of living to be 80 if you've never truly experienced life?
