It would help if I knew who "Alice In Chains" was. The only Alice in chains that I am familiar with is an actual person who is chained up.

There is no fucking conceivable way that you don't know who AIC or Layne Staley was. It wasn't top 40, it wasn't even really contemporary. Do yourself a favor, and pick up AIC Unplugged and feel it. Even for the grunge movement they were on the edge between heavy metal and grunge.

Most music doesn't do shit for me. Me knowing the name of a singer of some grunge bands name is a likely as my grandmother knowing who the top 10 NSACAR drivers of all time are.
