I read this on another site.
Don’t get me wrong – I don’t subscribe to any of it but like Fox Mulder might say “I want to believe”. It’s just that none of the evidence supports reptoid overlords from the hollow earth running world governments. Frankly, the truth often makes for much better listening. Charlatans rigging elaborate scams or wild and wonderful events in nature creating atmospheric light shows is more fascinating and entertaining.
By the same token, I marvel that so many people are willing to reach for far fetched answers to much simpler questions. When a government can barely keep their house in order, what makes you think there are enough competent people to form a consensus on a New World Order? What makes you think you are so special that the Illuminati needs to spy on you? And if you can’t trust the people dedicated enough to study the science to research and make our gadgets and drugs, why would trust the slick talking fellow with the bottle of sugar pills to have a better remedy?
There’s a reason we don’t do things like the ‘ancient civilizations’ did – we found better ways of doing them. To borrow a phrase, I welcome our Internet overlords. As it turns out, they is us!
