Oh yeah they happen all the time. We had some of the shitttiest tracks around even with all the slow orders there would still be a derailment everyday. In the 2 years I worked there we only had 3 big derailments. 1 was out in Dublin after a big rain that put the engines on thier sides. 1 was in the switch yard a car was fouling a track as another train was leaving and tore 10 cars of the track 2 of witch were hazardous chemicals. 1 was 10 cars of big pipe out in decordova the conductors radio went out as they were going to a spot. The craziest thing was a car that got away out in cresson. The conductor was switching some cars he sat a car out to the main line and it started rolling so he hopped on it and tied the brake but nothing was happening. He stayed on all the way to 28th street in fort worth. Luckily it was in the middle of the night and there wasn't much traffic. He said there were times he got going so fast that the railcar would already be through the crossing before the arms came down. It rolled from cresson to tower 60 by the stockyards

At 70mph the arms are already down 10 seconds before we cross. He must have been going 150mph.Originally posted by The KingI would have to disagree...If a man gives another man a blow job and doesn't use his hands, that doesn't make him gay.

The story must be true about the building of the capitol building. My grandmother told me that story in about 1952. She was born and raised in Burnett, and that is where the granite mines are located. Red granite with black specks. She said that the pieces rolled off the cars in route to Austin.
