I don't go through them, nor do I get a wand or any detector (when opting out) and I fly almost weekly....

When I don't opt out its because I got the precheck and got to walk on through...

When I was going back and forth to Canada last year I went through the scanner at DFW every time. IDGAF what they saw because, if anything, it was more of a punishment for them!

A lot of airports I've been through recently seem to have it at random. Sometimes the body scanner machine is completely shut-down, other times it seems as if everyone is funneled through it, other times it seems random, you either go through the metal-detector thingy or the body scanner. I don't really give a fuck either way. At least these days, it doesn't seem to show shit. There was a hot girl behind me going through it in Denver a couple weeks ago, I looked-over at the monitor and all it does is highlight "areas of concern" or something like that, can't remember what the wording was. Maybe it said "pat these areas" or something like that. It was just a very general standard layout outline of a body and a couple places were lit-up.

The main thing I have a concern with in regards to the TSA is when I put my carry-on shit on the conveyor belt it either seems like I get to the end way before my bag gets there, or my bag/shoes/etc are at the end way before me. In fact, one of the last times, the red-light and what-not was flashing and two different agents asked me "Is this your bag?", when it wasn't, my shit was already at the end and they had no clue whose bag was setting-off the alarm. I think that should be more of an issue to them, keeping the person going through the scanner at the same time as their bag, or at least know which bags belong to which people, but what the fuck do I know.

Agree completely with that and have had the same problem. It's especially irritating because you have to put your laptop in its own tote and send it down and you're not anywhere near it. I usually only fly 4-8 times a year, but it's amazing how disorganized they are in the process of being as intrusive as possible.
